Creativity as a Method of Healing with James Masters

James Masters, the publisher of Inspired2Be, is an artist, spiritual educator, and community leader whose work explores the intersection of creativity, healing, and belonging. He holds a permanent residency with a local gallery and regularly exhibits throughout the Kansas City area.

Within the Unity movement, James is a credentialed, polyvagal-informed, and trauma-aware leader. He serves as Program Coordinator for Folx with Faith, an LGBTQ+-centered organization within the New Thought tradition that creates affirming spaces and supports spiritual communities in deepening their understanding of gender and inclusion.

He is also the Technology Specialist for Unity Arts Ministry, where he helps expand access to the arts as a pathway for personal and spiritual growth, and serves on the board of the Faith and Trauma Center, an organization dedicated to the study of religious trauma and the education of ministers and lay leaders.

Through both his artistic and spiritual work, James is committed to fostering connection, compassion, and collective care.
