Thank you, Margaret, Bronce and Sue for this intuitive presentation of meaning the Wellbeing Equation. If in the Wellbeing Equation joy and high energy level are the indicators of high spirit, then opposite feelings like sadness and fatigue are on the contrary the indicators of low spirit. If we look at the spirit like a bridge between mind and soul than sadness could be described as a discouragement, faint-heartedness (low-spiritedness).
Tajana - That is very interesting! I like the way you think. Now I'd have to explore when sadness is indeed a discouragement and when it might be just what the soul needs to help eventually lift our spirits. Your comment is lovely - this is why our Wellbeing Equations are all different at points. What you say is likely to be true in most cases, but then I wonder, what about the exceptions!
Maybe when you feel suddenly sad and do not know reason, you could find reason in feeling discouraged or helpless (low spirit). Also interesting phenomenon is how both, sadness and anger could appear in the form of fear, for example: sometimes when you suddenly feel fear and repeating to yourself “I am afraid”, you could find out that the reason is incidental recalling sad memories and stifled grief, or stifled anger because you must obey something which you now it is not right.
💯 Facts. Recognizing your triggers, then go the other way. Separate yourself. That is key. We have choices.
Yes indeed. Thank you 💕
